Just trying to see what looks good to the general public

Sorry I don't have photoshopped pic of Gun Metal Blue

DEpointfive0 08-16-2014 01:47 AM

I know who you're hitting up when you go to buy them

FairladyZ10PG 08-16-2014 02:15 AM

nomodsjk 08-16-2014 09:52 AM

That's the first time I've seen someone do a vote like that. That's pretty cool. Voted te37sl

cooltoy 08-16-2014 02:52 PM

Will these work for you?

I won't be taking my car to vegas since it will be in the shop getting fixed. I was involved in an accident and have some body damage. I'll be in my gf's 3 series with pink emblems :icon17:

Arrvaxx 08-16-2014 10:47 PM

I am a big fan of the TE37s. I know they are super popular but sometimes things are popular because they are...awesome. So I voted TE37s but know that you won't be alone if that matters to you.

FairladyZ10PG 08-16-2014 10:52 PM

Yea I know...I'll be one of many cars out there
But it won't stop me from getting them just because something is popular
I'd never have my amuse (rep) kit if I cared about such things :rofl2:
So guess I'll jump on the te37 band wagon
I'm already on the Cleveland Cavalier's band wagon :icon17:

Haha. No, not that too!

I'm like you...if I like it I like it.

I wouldn't change your current setup, looks perfect as is.

I like the SL's but everyone and their mother (literally) is now running them.

kenchan 08-18-2014 01:44 PM

i like the first thumb nail in that bronze color.

My car is like your twin, just a few years younger lol

You might have been thrown off by the runduce brake setup. It might not look as good w/o it :icon17:

kenchan 08-18-2014 03:41 PM

oh i c. :icon17: hahaha

i like the many spokes vs the TE37's. i'd probably just keep your G25's you have on there right now.

...yea I've been hearing that a lot lately

Zbrah 08-18-2014 04:12 PM

I wold vote for TEs in matte gunmetal blue but it isn't one of the listed options.

FairladyZ10PG 08-18-2014 04:15 PM

^That'd be my #1 option lol

kenchan 08-18-2014 04:19 PM

i think you should concentrate more on the shrek look. :icon17:

your wheels are fine as they are.

Zbrah 08-18-2014 04:28 PM

Make it happen Brah.

Pick up a second hand set and powder coat them mgb, add some red volk stickers back on and you got yourself a one off TE with your own touch to a classic wheel.

Liquid_G 08-18-2014 04:37 PM

TE37 Ultra's are available in that blue. but then you'd have to go up to 20's.

I've seen the 18x12 +20 size of the ZE40 at a local shop. That concave is amazing. In 19" its got to be even more awesome.

I wonder if they'll be able to match that color & finish

ZE40s = :yum:
This decision would be so much easier if my car was not asphalt color :rofl2:

You're totally right, now I see why I have always liked your setup

I have a feeling whatever you do I will like it since you have good taste, I just personally would keep your setup as is because no one else is running the same wheels!

FairladyZ10PG 08-18-2014 05:42 PM

^.....you guys are killing me... making it so difficult for me to decide...

makstraw 08-18-2014 06:35 PM

Honestly in my opinion, with your color and Amuse kit, more spokes looks better. That gunmetal paint and Amuse kit makes your car look more "racey"

FairladyZ10PG 08-18-2014 06:45 PM

dang it..
maybe I should've started a poll where I should keep or change my setup lol

Amuse370z 08-19-2014 02:43 AM

I.. may be biased ;) But the TE37sl look amazing in person. Photos never do it any justice because the wheel appear to be darker than they really are in person. The red spoke when the car is moving is just so nice to look at and pretty unique.

jay9 08-19-2014 03:16 AM

I literally just put in an order for TE37SL's .... so that gets my vote !

Having owned multiple sets on TE37's, Id go the other way…. Unique in the sense that you'll be the only one with them within 50 miles maybe, but you see TE37's everywhere when it comes to car shows, internet, photoshoots etc…..

Try on another set of multi spoke wheels, or go 3pc and buy some come custom wheels….

Example: AG 3pc, Works or SSRs.

Cheers buddy! Looks great in its current setup.

kenchan 08-19-2014 11:34 AM

i have work and ssr multi-piece wheels as well.

only issue with them are they look very pretty but weigh considerably more... for dress up car,
i would never use it on my sports car.

FairladyZ10PG 08-19-2014 11:36 AM

^yes they do

one of the reasons why I got rid of my work S1R so soon after the purchase

coming from ADVAN RZ-DF to S1R...the difference is night & day lol

kenchan 08-19-2014 11:55 AM

yah, for me, i like my nismos and weds. both aound 21-22lbs range.
the work and ssr's are for my other car which is for dressup.

:iagree: with all points given

I love the look of multi-piece wheels but you can definitely feel the loss in performance
