21" wheels

Hi everyone. What do you guys think of 21" wheels on a 370? They look hot on the Branew 370Z imo. :)

I know that the speedo may be a bit off and maybe ABS? I also know its heavy as hell but for cruising around it should be fine right? I still have my stock rays for the track...

I'm thinking of getting Work Wheels Gnosis GS2 in 21's.

The ones in the lower picture are 20s and are Venaci (similar to the gnosis it seems).
I would not go over 20" though with this car, 19s fit great, 20s will fill the gap if you do not have the car dropped at all.

Well... (?) Those sure are "Phat" wheels!

G37Sam 09-25-2009 09:23 AM

They're too big IMO

I guess you guys are right. I'd better just go with 20's then. :)

Thanks everyone!

I'll try to rep everyone that responded a day at a time till I get you all. :)

Thanks again!

it will not fill the gap unless bigger tires are put on.... most keep it at stock diameter spec... so the bigger the rim, the thinner the tire

True, but it is the allusion the eye sees which is what I was referring to (did not specify that). Similar to 18s on the 370z with fatter tires look super tiny and there is more wheel gap when there is not.

it's all relative

I would say stick with 20"s or smaller..think of price for 305/30/20 and 275/35/20 tires. Think of the obvious ride quality loss. Think about how the 370z isnt a SUV or hoopty

Caravanshaka 09-25-2009 11:11 AM

sadly, 20" tires are cheaper than 19" itres now...

I wouldn't go any larget than 20" myself.

They look good, but for quality of ride, I would stick with 19's. Better handling IMO
