yah, honestly that packaging looks pretty crappy...

Me too. The tire place is making a claim already.

I got the driver to acknowledge the damage right on delivery and he signed a statement for me. Tire store said that that wil speed up the process tremendously.

You didn't buy from getyourwheels, did you? Mine had two layers of cardboard on each side plus a thin foam layer for the face side.

There was foam too, but as you know UPS will destroy anything. They manage to destroy FI exhausts. And nobody packs it like they do.

The 3500 LB lift is $995.00. The 5000 LB lift is $1295.00, and they include the lift motor. This is definitely on my list now.

Would you lay under them? Or still use jack stands?

The sound they make as he's depressurizing and the way it buckles in the support area looks a bit scary. Not saying it's unreliable but man that would have me worried if I were underneath it.

I would use jack stands if I went under the car. Just to be safe.

The stand is designed to hold over 4000lbs so they rate it at 3500. It will hold just fine with just the lock bars on the lift arms, but I would still use stands if I went under....

However, for working on brakes and changing tires/wheels... it's awesome!
