Steering isn't as quick and I feel the side wall roll when cornering hard with the S04's. The softer side wall also contributes to the smoother quieter ride. It seems to cause the VDC to come on easier too. I like them for the street, I just don't think they are a good candidate for the track. When the budget allows it, I'd like to have a set of sticky track wheels and tires and run S04's on the street. They are a great tire for the money. Just my 2 cents.
