New wheel width decision
I'm ordering new wheels and tires and the tires I'm ordering are 255/35-20 for the front and 285/30-20 for the rear. What wheel size will give me the best look? I guess these are my choices:
9" front 10" rear 10" front 11" rear 9" front 11" rear I'm leaning toward the 9"-10" package. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |
ideally for 255 you'll want 9.5" front and for rear 10.5" for 285.
probably do 9 and 10 to be on the conservative side. |
Looks like I was able to get a 10.5 for the rear, so that should be perfect with the 285's

yah, 10.5" are nice for sure for 285's.

What are the offsets? Are you lowering?

Not lowering at this point. Being it's my DD I have a hard enough time getting around without scraping. I'm running 20 mm spacers all around now and like that, 20mm may even be just a bit much for the front. So shooting for 35 front and 15 rear offset. Eric @ getyourwheels is working on getting the offsets as close to what I want as possible. Forgestar CF10's is what I've ordered Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |
The front 245 tyre will be slightly tucked in (3 mm). The 285 rear tyre (not the rim) will stick out a bit (7 mm).
Not sure if you saw my thread just below yours. |
getyourwheels guys are great BTW.
