Plastidipping scuffed rims

I wanted to Plastidipp my rims black, and had a question regarding the scuffs. Would it be best to sand them down a bit before plastidipping? Otherwise I feel like the scuffs will still be noticeable even after applying the Plastidipp.

Ull have to spot bondo and sand before any paint or coating to get a clean finish
