Winter Setups

I thought that a narrower tire was better because of more contact between the tire and ground

it is, but not sure about 225 on a 330+hp car...

So general consensus is saying that 245s around on 18x8's is the ideal way to do it??

on my G i ran 225 up front and 245 LM60's. that would be the widths i would use on my Z if i drove my car in the winter on 18's...

which will never happen.

The only reason I was looking for a square setup is so that I can at least rotate them and not need to replace them quite as often since I drive so far everyday

but youre quite a bit south in kentucky/indiana border(?) vs where i am... we get pretty deep snow and sub-0F is the norm...

I've been running this setup for 2 winters and it works great in the snow. I just rotate front to back each year. I was just wondering about the spacers for back wheels.

I heard you shouldn't need spacers. They really are there just to get rid of the sunken in look from the smaller tire, but if you don't care (like I'm sure most of us driving the Z in the snow including myself), then you shouldn't need to worry about it.

"Winter"? I figure I'll stay on the stockers this year then get a proper summer setup next year and keep the base wheels for winter again. Luckily it doesn't really snow here so I should be fine on the summer tires.

Yea I'm thinking purely cosmetic reasons. I'm a spacer noob so I was just wondering what I should get to get rid of that sunken look
