I don't see too many 370z cars using them? The 18's rated good on tire rack on many cars. They are under 25 lbs(4lbs lighter than OEM) and 30k warranty.

michelin PSS tires
I don't see too many 370z cars using them? The 18's rated good on tire rack on many cars. They are under 25 lbs(4lbs lighter than OEM) and 30k warranty. The wt savings would help on launches and maybe gas(rotational mass). The cost is about $220 a tire(high) which you might get back from gas savings. Any input on this because I am thinking they are the holy grail tire and might be worth buying. Maybe just for the rear wheels?

Some people also speculate that the PSS will wear longer than the OEM RE11As or other competing tires adding to the cost benefit ratio. It's possible, but I'm skeptical that improved gas mileage and/or better wear will make up the $400-per-set price difference between the PSS and the Potenza S-04, for example.

I run the PSS on the stock 19" Rays as I bought the car used and thats what was on there. I had the misfortune of picking up a tapcon in the sidewall and 3 finishing nails from a neighbor's dumpster pickup within a month of buying the car. I thought I would save a few bucks and put Hankooks on all 4 paws...They sucked. You could melt rubber a 1/2 block from a dead start and they felt loose in the turns. So when they ran there coarse (bout 12 - 13k in the rears) I went back to the PSS and now have no regrets.

Great tire. Handles well at the track. Durability seems good. And they are much quieter than the OEM Bridgestones. Good wet handling as well.
If you are patient, you can periodically get a rebate for them from TireRack or you local retailer that makes them less expensive.

I love mine. Did 6 track days last year with them. Got a few track days scheduled this year. And they're a great DD tire too. A coupling of people here on the forum don't like them, but most do.

From what I've heard PSS are great, a lot of people I've talked to personally track and DD with them and they say they are great and have a decent lifespan. They will be my next tire in a few months.

Have had mine for 20K miles now and love them. Grippy, great in the rain, and much quieter than the stock potenzas. The only negative is they are expensive! Was thinking about going with SO4's next round just on a cost standpoint.

I've had mine for 18k miles already. Hope this helps.
