Thank you Eric, for taking the time to chop these...

now seeing them on a plain red z, i would have to agree with you...i dont think vvs078s are the right wheels...

MightyBobo 10-30-2009 10:56 AM

I picked the best bet IMHO, but they too struck the wrong chord with me.

Furthermore, I think the whole matte black on red theme is quickly being worn out :(

nogoodname 10-30-2009 11:06 AM

Silver wheels on a red car is best IMHO

I think a bright silver ends up being TOO bright, but a nice dark, machined silver looks fantastic.

nogoodname 10-30-2009 11:12 AM

True, darker shades of silver is best.

at first i thought the same...

i though tthe stock sport rims were good enough...

after some time now, im leaning towards a deepdish...just not sure what color now...black may be too much for my taste...stock color may be too plain...

fairladyZ34 10-30-2009 12:02 PM

i meant these specific wheels arent my cup of tea

If you want to spend 3g's, can get you 2pc rims

lol im a message horder...

just looked in my little vossen catalog at those 85's

there not bad!

2g's too...not bad as well...

so these are a contender...

nogoodname 10-30-2009 06:21 PM

The spokes are cleaner looking than the 078's but look the same from far...lol

the 085's is the newer model.

I think they will look good, five spokes is a classic

Eric 10-30-2009 08:00 PM

I just did a quick chop with the Vossen 085's. I don't think that they look right on the Z.

If you could, include the name and model of the rim. I'm having a hard time identifying and finding good pictures of them to use in my chops.
