tire recommendation!
I am looking for 4set of tires.
no performance/no road noise. I am looking for something that will last long. Someone recommend Nitto Motivo and it's got the 60000miles warranty on it. I know most of performance tires will only last long for about 20000~35000miles. Can anyone recommend tires that will last long period of time? Thanks! |

All-Season tires are usually designed for all around performance and comfort, so I'd stick to those if that's what you're after. They usually have harder rubber but sacrifice overall grip at extreme conditions. You can try the Potenza RE970AS Pole Position's which has a 5 year/40k mile treadlife warranty.

Michelin AS3. Cuntynental might make good tires but... Michelins, costco, $70 off.

Oh, and no tire will last that long
The AS3s have a 45k warranty and it's halved because can't do tire rotations EDIT: wow... I guess Motivos really do have a 60k warranty and do come in the right sizes. Still will be cut in half OP, and I don't know how hard it is to warranty a tire out through the MFG for mileage... Especially on a sports car, hell, costco is hesitant, but as long as they don't see chunking, they'll replace them without a fight

There is no set of tires for the Z that will give you those things. Better get a Prius

you want a set of non-performance tires on your performance car...? a tip for you to make the tires last forever: drive like an 80 years old granny, the tires gonna last forever... well, you don't need performance anyway, thus I thought you don't drive "performancely" Last edited by alcheng; 05-16-2014 at 01:47 PM. |

I am selling my car now.... because of you guys! jkjk
I will get DWS - since they come with 50000miles warranty. Thank you for all inputs! Any shop recommend? I usually go to Discount Tire, since they offer 12month no finance charge... |

If so, then the warranty is often half the miles as for non-staggered. This is due to inability to rotate front to rear.

Like others have stated, the typical tire warranty will halve the mileage coverage for staggered tires, like the Z. I always go to Discount and have been happy with them for the most part. However, different shops = different experiences.
