Good price for Nismo wheels.
|
My goodness... a set of Nismo wheels for $800 :eek2:
|
:ugh2: repaired? heavy replicas? :ugh:
made out of balsawood? :ugh: |
I am going to choose the third answer.
From reading the website info, I'd say reconditioned. Says the wheels are by Transwheel. I think they reconditioned wheels. http://www.transwheel.com/about/TWAb...px?Event=About |

~900 a pop.. |
Lots of the wheels for sale here need to be reconditioned anyway, as they are usually cur rashed. So I don't know. Are these any different?

as far as reconditioned vs not reconditioned.... if done right they will look as good as new. but i wouldnt buy from there. check out wheelcollision.com if they have any. |
It's fair value for them, nothing to get too excited over
Don't even come with center caps |
considering factory nismo's in hyper silver are like 900 a pop, that is a huge deal. :D
it's not the s-tuned wheels, the actual nismo oem wheels. |
OEM NISMO's are always super expensive if you pay retail, totally unrealistic for what they actually are and for what we sell them to each other for

You can also match this with the unrealistic retail price of the sport wheels, same situation |
Having just purchased a set of used wheels and then needing one more at full tilt price, or close enough, I realize I still got a good deal on my new S tunes.
Reconditioned does not phase me until finding one of my own could be rewelded but the stress fracture might still rear it's ugly head in the future. Suddenly that $800 price could be a very expensive decision. I may make a hose reel with my damaged wheel. |

i paid pretty close to that for my nismos and im not here arguring they are expensive. they fit the car correctly. |
