Chips on wheels

Ok. This may be a stupid question, but how can I prevent chipping on my wheels from little rocks and stuff on the road? It's only the brim of the wheels. I have 20x9 front with 245s and 20x10.5 with 285s on them. Will buying larger tires reduce/prevent this from happening? Any suggestions...?

Nothing you can do except try to use wheel wax (which still does't really help)

If it gets bad you can always just get them powdercoated after a year or so

Get a clear bra for them.

That's life! Wait till you have to get your tires mounted and unmounted. Wait till you get a blow out. Wait till you remove the lug nuts. No matter how anal you are it will never be perfect.

Smh, should of bought some cheap wheels that cost 1k for the entire set then...I'm going to have to get em powder coated in a year or so, best option I see

Would buying larger tires help any? Going from a 285 to 305 and 245 to 255

It's ok, just try not to focus on them too much.

I have black wheels so I touch them up with gloss black touch up paint every now and then

If you wanted to add the OEM splash guards that might help deflect some of the rocks/debris
