Would buying larger tires help any? Going from a 285 to 305 and 245 to 255

It's ok, just try not to focus on them too much.

I have black wheels so I touch them up with gloss black touch up paint every now and then

If you wanted to add the OEM splash guards that might help deflect some of the rocks/debris
