BTW if anyone is looking for lightweight 20's, there's a couple of sets of the NEW VOLK RACING G2'S available in flat black and formula silver. 20x10 only weighs 21 lbs The 19 inch G2'S are right about 19 lbs
Lou,

You also need to take into account rotational inertia. Even if a 20" wheel weighs the same as an 18", the 20" still has a larger diameter which makes it harder to spin. Of course weight is important, but it isn't the only thing

of course, thats why i suggested those tire sizes so its not too much of the original diameter

His 18 OE diameter front: 26.85, rear: 26.68
His new 20 gt30 with 255/30/30: 26.02 and rear 295/25/20: 25.80

So his new setup is lighter and slightly smaller than his OE 18'S

Ugg, got my answer - definitely stay away from gold. Props for trying it. Not for me, though

Like around 1 inch or so. Maybe 1 1/8 or something.

Wow, so basically if you get the FI exhaust, you cant lower the car low enough to get rid of all the gap? Was set on FI because of the power gains and the way they look, but that definately kills it.

Not entirely so. This happened to me because I chose such a low profile tire, which reduced the overall diameter of my wheel/tire. This has the effect of making me have to lower my car more than someone with a wheel/tire of larger diameter to get rid of all the tire gap.

Does that kinda make sense? I'm not sure if I explained that properly.

yeah makes perfect sense. I was going to get 19inch wheels though with low profile tires as well. That will probably make my car sit even lower then yours since you have 20's i think? if thats the case, no way i can get a FI exhaust What are those, 30 series tires?

I typically love gold wheels on a black car, but this just doesn't work and I think I know why. The gold center section looks great however when combined with the silver lip it looks terrible. Even in the pictures with just the rims and tires something just looks off. It needs to either be solid gold or solid polished not both it causes it to be too busy and there is too much if a funky contrast. However its your car and if you love it then that is awesome and I am happy for ya!

Front is 30 and rear is 25 I think. And I think in the future I'll go a bit larger, it is a little too much of the stretched look.
