Wheel fitment concern on sport model

I have a 2009 sport 370z and I'm wanting to buy wheels. I want 19x9.5+22 front 19x10.5+12 rear but I want to make sure especially on the front that that offset will clear the front calipers.

You'll be fine. That wheel setup has been a proven setup MANY times already now.

Chances are good they will clear the calipers but it depends on the specific wheel design. Which wheels are you thinking?

Varrstoen es-3. I wish I could afford the real volk ce28s but they're just out of my price range...

Offsets don't make caliper clearance. The disk design and how thick the backpad is determines caliper clearance. Don't listen to the guy above that said the wheels should fit no problem.

3.3.2s? I'm thinking that wheel design needs to be at +15 (+22 with spacer) or the +12 to clear the brakes.

Agree and disagree. Rpf1's have a horrible back spoke design that sticks inward. My 9.5 +25 fits fine. I doubt any wheel is worse so a +22 should fit no problem.

before I get into the whole 'why are you downgrading forged rims to knockoffs' and 'if you can't afford them, save up until you do', I'll agree that it's the wheel design that determines if it fits, not so much offset.

Different rim design, same offsets that you're looking for:

fixed. their wheels dont seem to have good caliper clearance for bbk's.

So you agree 100% with me... The face of the wheel determines brake clearance. That's why I have to run T-disk on my VS-XX's when normally I could just run R-disk (WORK Wheels). Its all in the face design.

Setup runs similar to Volk (it's a Volk knockoff), so 19x9.5 +22 front 19x10.5 +12 rear works.

I've never run them, but I'd probably re-verify with a vendor before ordering them. Varrstoens do not have the same caliper clearance as Volks.

There's also nothing in the link you posted indicating a lack of spacers.

No because rpf1s come in different offsets. They all have the same spoke design but offset does make the difference for which will and won't fit. A different offset also changes the back design slightly so it's not one or the other, it's both.

You're totally right on cheap 1 piece cast wheels. I was thinking more the 2/3 piece wheels. Sorry about that. I have never bought cheap wheels before so am not very knowledgable in that respect.
