Yeah I've read they have very poor QC over at varrstoen.
|
If it were me, I would not sell the Nismo wheels and replace them with Varrstoen.
|
yah, why would one sell the nismo wheels anyway? they're great.
i sound like tony the tiger. :ugh: |
boy id be pissed if i was BBS and saw that pic floating around the internet.
BBS wheels are the shiet! |
yah, but people that know wheels know real wheels dont shatter like that. :D
|
BBS LMs are also two piece unlike the one piece Varrstoen replica lol. The bolts/hardware on the BBS LM actually do something (hold the pieces together) unlike the fake bolts found on the Varrstoens.

here are the pics. the front wheels are slightly turned but hopefully you get the idea. right now front has negative 2.0 camber i think lol. and rears are left to oem specs. in my opinion i think with oem camber the rears are aggressive looking to me thats why i set it to stock oem camber setting. these are varrstoen and havent have any issues with it

Thanks for the replies.
I know quite a few people who have Varr's and don't have these issues that a few people have had. The only complaint I hear VS real deal wheels is the weight. If it's my luck that my wheel breaks, then it's my luck. *knock on wood*. I want a different style of wheel and I'm in no hurry to sell my Nismo stocks. I've also have had my share of expensive wheels and just don't want to spend that much on my wheels anymore. This is my 4th Z. Thanks for this link... Custom rims, wheel tire packages for your ride - RIMSnTIRES.com Yes, all the offsets I gave were positive. |
yah, definitely think before you make the change. the nismo wheels are very good.
|
I have the ES2.2.2 in 19x9.5 +22 and 19x10.5+12 and I needed an 8mm spacer to clear the stock sport brakes. So, with the 8mm spacer, that brings my offset down to +14 and it looks very nice. If I could do it again, I would go with the +12 in the front and the 11" +15 in the rear. I think your first thoughts were spot on. If you want to see pics of the wheels and the offsets, look at my Journal (link in sig).
