Default Bridgestone s-04 or michelin ss?

I really don't like the original tires. I put s-04 on my last g35 and they rocked. I heard michelin are a notch above. I heard however there are flat spot issues with the pss?? Definitely don't want that.

Which one should I buy? Read lots of posts on his and everyone seems torn...

Dunlop direzza z2. Replaced re-11's and they are better than the Bridgestones. Don't skimp on tires.

Can you afford the PSS?
If so, get them. Case closed. Never heard of flat spots. Just buy them. You get a mileage warranty too

If you're planning on driving it every day Id give the pss a try.

I too read about the flatspotting issues on the pss so got a new set of S04's again.
This is on my G

This isn't my daily driver. So with it sitting sometimes I worry about possible flat spots. The s-04s were such good tires when I had them before.

It's close! So for those of you who think pss, you don't think I will have any flat spot issues if I only drive it a few times per week?

somewhat correct. you get a half life warranty. it's 30K is its a square set-up. only 15k warranty on a staggered set-up. called them once since i ran trough my rears of PSS's in about 15k miles.

just FYI

sidenote: that wasnt a problem just info on the warranty. once spring comes closer i'm buying another set of PSS'. best tires i've ran. bumping to a wider set this tiem around though. thinking 265/295 set up.

my Z sits for months in the winter in my garage.i maybe move it 10-15 ft back then forward when i start it up once a month to move fluids around and make sure the battery is good and i've never had any flat spots or issues with mine.

yea its nice but to be honest it wouldnt matter lol i trash a set of tires every summer when i can actually drive my car. so the front tires will be tossed and the rears which are currently spare pirellis i had to put on since with 2 weeks of driving time left my PSS's were showing thread badly on the rears and were very unsafe lol so those rears dont matter to me either. got 4 for $25 each off a local guy for back ups

I have PSS's on my car which sits in a parking garage 9 days out of 10. No flat spots.
I love them. They grip well in dry and wet conditions and are even a few lbs lighter than other tires. The only downside is that they wear out pretty fast during hard driving.
