Selling wheels...new tires...not sure what to do.
Currently I have 18x9.5 +25 w/ a 20mm spacer in the front and 18x10.5 +15 with 255/40 and 285/35.
The goal is to run square. Just not sure if I want 285 or 295. I'm trying for both to be a 35 but is there anyone running a 295/30? The sidewall will be almost 2" smaller than OEM! That's pretty small in my book. FYI The new wheels will be 18x10 +38. This will be 7mm less poke in the front which I like since its pretty poked now and will be 17mm less than if I went 18x9.5 +15. The rear will get sucked in 29mm which I won't like so I'm planning on moving the front spacer to the rear. This again should also be perfect since the rear is also slightly poked. Losing 6mm in the front and 9mm in the rear should be nice when lowered with large tires on the track since it will be harder to rub the fenders. The front should also lose some weight because while the the 18x9.5 +45 weighs less than the 18x10 +38, I'm losing that big spacer. The rear I'd think wouldn't be effected that much because the 10" wheels weighs less than the 10.5" but again adding the spacer back kinda keeps everything close to now.

Did you ever go ahead with this 18x10 +38 all around? Considering doing similar, just wondering how it worked out for you? Is no spacer needed for caliper clearance on the front?

going to need a spacer up front, et30 is the most positive you can go with 18x10.5. rear will prolly need a spacer too to at least look ok. id put a 25mm back there.
ive looked into 295/30/18 also and man it is a short tire. even 275/35/18 is short and that's taller then 295/30. in RS3 i run 285/35/18 which is perfect. i know nitto makes the NT555RII in 285/35/18 which is what im told is a NT01 compound with a stiffer sidewall. i was going to look into this tire after my 275/35/18 Maxxis RC1 wore out |

OEM to now Front inner- 16mm more clearance, Front outer- extend 28mm Rear inner- 9mm more clearance, Rear outer- extend 21mm OEM to planning Front inner- 4mm less clearance, Front outer- extend 22mm Rear inner- 12mm more clearance, Rear outer- extend 12mm Now to planning Front inner- 19mm less clearance, Front outer- retract 7mm Rear inner- 3mm more clearance, Rear outer- retract 9mm Based on offset it should work with nothing in the front and a 20mm in the rear. If the front does rub some where it'd seem a 5mm spacer would do so I'm 1mm more clearance over OEM in the inner and extend 27mm on the outer which almost equals what I have now. Even that seems over kill since most on OEM wheels do a 20mm or 25mm spacer. It'd just be like I'm doing a 22mm or a 27mm in the front.
