Man those wheels look great on the car! Did you get them from ravspec by any chance?

Thanks man.I'm running 295 in the rear actually. I think you could even fit 305 easily without any problem. As for 265 in the front, it doesn't rub even at full lock. I'd more worry about front than rear. It might rub inner suspension at full lock if you go wider than 265.
Yes, I got these from ravspec. I couldn't pass up the deal Did you get these from ravspec too? in flat black?

The 265 doesnt look that bad! Just slightly off from matching the rear 295.

Yup picked up the flat black (although it was not as sweet of a deal as the gunmetals!). I believe you can fit a 325 in the rear without too much hassle if you really wanted to. As for the front, i "think" i want to try the 285/35/19 for front AND rear on re11s. Im currently on nismo suspension but might add some spl front camber arms to add a little more camber. I also dont mind rolling a little if i have to. Which part of the inner suspension do you think would rub at full lock?

Do you think 10mm spacer was the way to go? Im sure you have a much better feel seeing it in real life. Im trying to pick either a +15 or +10 offset to match the fronts.

How do you like the s04s? Do you have any comparisons to other tires?

Again, super thanks for giving me all this awesome info.

No worries man. I'm not an expert on this so I can't say exactly which part it's going to rub, but 10.5 will give you less inner clearance than stock for obvious reason. The shop where I go, tirerack, ravspec also told me that they wouldn't recommend going wider than 265. This is what tirerack told me "The 265/35R19 has a rim width range of 9 to 10.5 inches in width so it is a good fit on your 10.5 inch wide wheel. That is wider than we recommend running on the front so I would not be able to recommend going even wider." I think they probably worry about rubbing inner wheel well or fender. I just calculated inner clearance using offset calculator and it showed me only 2mm less clearance than stock. Even if you fit 285, I don't think it would rub strut but only inner well or fender because of the tire height.

If you want it to be super flush, I would say go for 25mm(+5 offset). Mine looks ok but it would've been much better if I had put 15mm.

Vancouver rains a lot so I wanted to get something that gives me a better grip when wet and good enough performance when dry. This tire really fits my criteria. And it's cheap! If you don't track your car, I don't see any point of paying extra money for re11 honestly.

Ah, all great info! I know a few guys run the 285/35/18 on 10.5+30 without any issues. I also have met a few guys that run 285/35/19 on the Stock Nismo front 9.5"+40 wheel as well, but i'm sure itll be cutting it close no matter what. I’m just hoping if issues come up it will be at least “able to be alleviated” for a lack of better words lol. I am not sure if being lowered affects your likely-ness to rub fenders. My main goal of the +30 square on 285s would be the ability to rotate (if I needed to).

As for the S04s and RE11’s, I’ve never tried the S04’s but I have tried the RE11s and loved them. They aren’t terribly too far in price difference either, but I also wouldn’t mind saving the cash. I do autocross from time to time, so I’m wondering if the RE11 will be noticeable on just an autocross basis.

So you’re saying a +5 overall offset in rear would match the +30 up front better than your current +10? Did you go with the Stud Replacements or the Bolt ons? I should be ordering tires this week or next so the moment of truce is coming soon!

Yea one of the main reasons of getting square is to rotate tires. I would've got 275 all around if I hadn't bought my rear tires first . Let me know how 285 fits when you fit it. I'm gonna go for 275 all around if I get new tires anytime later.
Since you do autocross, re11 would be well worth the money. Everytime I modify my car, I always realize this phrase "you get what you pay for"
+5 offset should be a good fit. I went with the stud replacement for safety reasons. 25mm would be quite thick when you see it in person. I highly recommend getting stud replacement type. I hope everything works out for you!

For sure, i think im gonna give the bolt ons a whirl for the first go around since ive had great experiences with them in the past. Once i figure out my exact spacer sizing ill go with arp studs and some regular spacers.

If you have any access to tirebuyer.com from canada or a friend in the USA i might be able to get u good deal on tires! Just give me a pm if you are interested!
