TCS AND VDC? are they linked?

Hey all for some reason my tire pressure sensors arent working (i put new wheels on and tried to disconnect the battery to reset them and it didnt work). Now when i turn my vdc off it still acts like it is on and wont allow the car to spin. I believe it spins a little more than when it is on, but it catches and the little slip light comes on. Are these two systems linked?

You need to have the TPMS sensors "recognized" by the ECM. This involves using a tool that receives the RF signal that each transmits and then putting that into the ECM. Most decent shops do this for a minimal fee.

TPMS and VDC are unrelated. If you changed wheels, did you move your old TPMS sensors over, or do the new wheels have new ones (or none at all?).

VDC should always be able to be disabled. If anything, any sort of VDC error (coming from things like mismatched tire sizes, ABS problems, or mounting the steering shaft incorrectly) tends to disable it, not perma-enable it.

I changed the wheels and the wheels had tpms in them already i believe. Will the sensors from my g35 work? or do i need ones specifically from the 370 because the ones from my g where never removed?
