Stock Sport Package Rays Rear Wheels on Front?
A buddy of mine is selling 2 rear stock sport package Rays wheels. The 19x10 +30 wheels. Will these fit without issue on the front of the car? I have the sport package which includes the larger brakes and want to makes sure those offsets are good to clear the front brakes and not rub with the fender lining/fender lip on the outside. Thinking about doing a square setup front and rear using the factory rear Rays wheels on all four corners of the car.
Anyone have pictures if they've done this? It would be great to see how they fit visually. |

According to an offset calculator you would have 4mm more inner clearance and it would extend 30mm further out. I imagine that it depends on if you're dropped or not but you will likely need some negative camber to not poke.

Hmm yeah... So it would sit roughly 1 1/4" out further due to the increased wheel width and offset. You may be right it may need some camber, but it may be all set as is also. Gotta take some measurements unless someone else has already tried it?

I know there's some folks running 25mm spacers for the sport fronts in the spacer threads but I don't think I've seen anyone with 30's and most of the 25's have been lowered to some degree. I just purchased 20mm spacers all around and I'm slightly worried that the front will be a bit more aggressive than I would like but I didn't want to mess with replacing studs...lol.

I think you should just switch the wheels real quick and test it out! Should take you no longer than 30min
IMO that would look kind of funny though, Hot Wheel status. But if it works and is what you want WGAF. |

I had seen pictures of 22mm and they looked pretty good but I took advantage of Z1's sale this weekend! Perhaps I'll find time this weekend to put the spacers and emblems on my car!

Remember to remove the bolt that's in the front hub that doesn't allow the rear tire to go on the front hub. It simply screws out.
