Did you have wheel locks? I know they aren't fool proof but I'm interested to see if they beat them

![]() Don't have wheel locks, I bought the gorilla locks from sfx performance after getting off the phone with the officer and insurance company. Supposedly they don't even have the key for their bolt patterns. Pretty expensive... |

See the difference? You need a massive washer to make flat contact with the wheel surface. We cant use acorn style lugs if that's what you bought. The pic below is a snapped lug from this site using a wheel lock from nissan.

![]() Post #4 of my journal thread. "After reading about the stolen wheels in another thread. I went back to the dealer and bought the McGard locking lug nuts. Part number #999W2-JT000 for $59.00. I also read the threads about the wrong locking lug nuts being used."

Well he said OEM wheels, I read it as no one (aftermarket wise) makes lugs for the OEM wheels.
Now, I know McGard makes the locks, but I consider those as OEM locks My bad brother! ![]()

Wheels aren't made of beer cans. Metal alloys costs different prices.

Sorry for your loss OP, but be happy as all hell!!!
You can buy almost ANY set of wheels now that insurance will pay out. Get yourself some nice light TE37SLs with Michelin PSS's!!! Quote:
WOW, never heard of a dealer doing that. Awesome. And what morons... Any 370Z wheel fits, lol ![]() And you'd be REALLY surprised... The amount of stuff they can take fingerprints from is about 0... Woman spent... 8 hours in my home... Got 4 prints... Only 2 were full... Oh, I forgot, there was blood on the window that they entered... Didn't give half a shite. Quote:
Lastly, they don't need a key. 3 ways of beating the system: 1) they use a universal socket (has little pins that let it attach to any shape, I'll google one in a bit 2) they put a bigger socket on your lugs, beat it on tight and twist off And if all else fails... 3) They come back the next day with a flatbed and jack the whole car.
