Happened to me when I just got Hankook Ventus V12's.
Didn't even drive on them for a week.
Right infront of my house!
3-4 Weeks later it was posted on G35nyc.com
I recommend you to report to the local P.D.
And keep a eye out on forums and craigslist.
The people who did it probably followed you from somewhere and watched for many hours.
I feel your pain brother, I seriously advise current and new z owners to get Viper Alarm System.
Wheel Locks won't really do justice...

I have to park outside but I have a window view of my car. Can't watch while I sleep obviously but I check on it sometimes and if I catch a fool messing with my car in any way I have a baseball bat ready for them lol

I was very curious so i just looked through my insurance policy and maybe things are different in canada but my policy states they must replace the equipment that was on the vehicle at the time of loss. Now this is where things can get a little crazy because whats to stop somebody from creating a huge list of high end items and declaring the loss-lol

Please read my previous post, i shopped around.
My hands were tied, State Farm did not give me a choice they made the check out to my name and the dealerships.

I'm still financing the car, the bank currently owns the car so I'm guessing that's why they couldn't cut the check solely in my name.

Op never got ripped off at all. As far as I see it he got his car back to the way it was which is what insurance is for. I find it hilarious that people think that not gaining more in the end is getting ripped off lol!

Not exactly, you are right, but why let the dealer make a profit?
Either I make the profit because I'm the one paying for the damn insurance every month and not using it, or I guess you have insurance keep it... If you believe a bit too much in Karma. (But you just got your wheels jacked, so... Let's assume not)
Oh yeah, ESPECIALLY when I have to pay the deductible, you can bet your ASSSS I'm going to make sure MY loss is covered

Thing is, if the world becomes Buddha tomorrow, your rates won't go down either, because they know you're used to paying a certain amount.

And insurance was willing to pay $6600 after the deductible.
Since you want to take the morally correct way, tell insurance to get the same parts for cheaper, like I stated in a previous post. Tell them to keep the change.

It may not sound like it, but at the end of the day, I'm being the assḥle so that OP or others can learn there is another way, and you are here. Ask us for our opinions, don't let people (Insurance company and the dealer) use you, they're YOUR employee.

If OP can return his set of lugs nuts for $160, I will GLADLY send him a set of 20 on MY dime for free.
Just saying we're all here to help, even though it may not seem like it at first
