And they're not light... At all...

S1s are 26 lbs or something, VS-XX are about the same...

And I honestly think that the S1's are some of the ugliest wheels made, VS-XX I'm ok with. (But this is just my opinion)

I don't understand the rave about TE37s (I think the design is very simple), but I understand the weight and respect that.

But why are Works $3-4000?
Finally someone agrees with me. Everybody says I'm crazy for thinking the Meister S1's are ugly and fatass looking.

Flow form is rotary forging. AKA not forged.

Metal gets stronger the more you play with it. On a flow formed/rotary forged/godknowswhatotherBSnamestheyhave they cast the centers with extra material (like a pie dish) then the sides are pressed up/down between two rollers stretching the material out making the barrels.

That is why the wheels ARE stronger than straight cast wheels, but not as strong as true forging. This is also why Varrstoen TE37 replicas weigh like 28lbs for a 19x10.5, and Sportlines (GREAT replicas) weigh 24lbs. In true forging you take a BIG ASSS piece of aluminum, heat it until it's red hot and SMASH THAT BITCH with tens of thousands of pounds of pressure into the rough shape of your wheels. And authentic TE37s in the same size weigh 21-22lbs

Look is subjective. I personally love the Meister. They look so nice on Rx7, Silvia, Nsx, Supra, Evo, Wrx, Bmw and especially on Porsche! But I haven't really seen any good looking 370z with Meister s1 3p(s1r looks better on 370 tho). So maybe the Meister is not made for 370.

As for the quality, I don't know... They usually weight 27/28 Ib. Not the lightest but lighter then SSR. And spun is not that bad I assume? It's the cost efficient way to get close to forged? I know a lot of racing wheels are spun...

I am just gonna leave this here.

I have Work Gnossis GS2's on my Z, but I didn't buy them cuz they were JDM or the "cool" brand. I saw them when I first bought my Z and always loved them. They are by far not the lightest, I think about 27lbs. I don't track or autoX my Z at all, I just love the look of mine and for me thats enough. O and I paid $2600.

The amount of customization you have with 3 piece wheels is amazing. There are so many calculations you have to figure out to get the perfect setup. Some of you old timers may not really understand with what i'm getting at but i think a car with the perfect stance is the most beautiful thing in the world. I am by no means promoting the idiots who run ridiculous camber, there are always boundaries.

Here's my setup. Work VSXX 19x10+0(f) and 19x12+0(r)

I've always liked this style if wheel but it's the only thing from work that I've liked lol. That said, I'm not very big on the deep dish look.

I would still like the TE37s even if they weren't popular. I enjoy their simple design, and I like the mag blue they come in.. To much money for me though lol.

i still think WEDS packs the biggest punch. light weight, nice concavity, and pretty cheap for jdm wheels.

i like the oe nismo wheel design. light weight too... not very cheap though.
