Default O.M.F.G! My wheel!!!! Repaired before and after!

Someone please tell me all will be in okay in the world?

Going to take my wheel to a local professional rim repair shop this Tuesday. Can I get some early reassurance that my wheel will look like brand new again?

Lol. That really is a curb rape, not rash... But they should be able to make it 95%+ as good as new. Don't worry.

Might cost $100~. Wouldn't pay much more than that though.

Well, if they want $125 and keep it the whole day they better make it 100%

I assume they're going to weld more metal then and shave it down?

you should just leave it like that in my opinion if it's just cosmetic and isn't a safety or performance issue
cars have to face the elements outside so don't expect stuff to always look brand new
and if it happens again? then you'll have to fix it again

looks like it's just a rash. no big deal. as long as it's not bent out of whack, you're fine.

Well I don't know what they are going to do my first experience. i asked him but I'll ask again on Tuesday. I asked him if it will it look like it never happened and he immediately replied, "Yup."

Must be confident shop and they are crazy busy too. I talked to him Wednesday last week and his earliest opening was this Tuesday. We will see. I want it fixed nonetheless.

Being a base wheel I wouldnt even fix it....just put that $125 towards new rims and be more careful....

use these for winter tires/wheels if you live in a winter area

I won't be getting new wheels for at least three years. I think the stock wheels are awesome. Its worth it for 3 years wouldn't you say?
