Will 255/40s rub on a lowered 9.5 +12?

I Cant answer your question, but if me I would do 255/ 35 with the 285/35 combination. 255/40 may give you problems since the side wall will be higher up

255/40 will only be 2 mm bigger in diameter than 285/35
