TPMS Bomb. Does it work for us?
I have track/winter wheels and I have dd wheels and do not want to mess with my TPMS every time I swap, nor do I want to look at a nusance light.
So I'm thinking TPMS bomb! BUT, before I do... does it work, or do the tires have to: 1. rotate and/or 2. send position reports (right front etc) If this works I'm going to grab some PVC, glue, padding and a schrader valve and put those babies to bed for good. Anybody tried this and had sucess? Apparently it works on some cars and not on others. (I havent been able to find results on the 370z)

The FSM may be able to answer your questions. I've only glanced over the TPMS section but, IIRC, it had a in-depth description of how it worked.

I think there is a thread on here not to long ago that there is a way to bypass the light by re-learning the tpms sensor or something like that. located in the driver side under the steer wheel

stead of going through all that why dont you just put on new tpms sensors on? isnt it more worth it than having to see that anoyying light on all the time? what if you get pull over one day and a police officer think that you are a terroist for having a homemade bomb! lol

If the bomb does not work, I'll just put TPMS on my DD wheels and look at the light while tracking. (actually, I'll be looking at the little foamy earplug I stuff over the TPMS light.)
