bolt on in rear, stud replacement in front

cptspeed 11-12-2009 03:21 PM

Patiently waiting. Do they work? Got my hand on my wallet.

Mike 11-12-2009 03:30 PM

Yes, they do work! All vibrations are gone! wooo hooo! Now I can enjoy driving it on the street almost as much as on the track.

btw, anyone want a 15mm set of ichibas?

fuct 11-12-2009 04:23 PM

so what is the final consensus (sp) now?

20mm fit the front with slight rubbing on a decent drop
25mm for the rear no problem

?

right?

I only have 15s up front, but I am lowered and 25s are no problem in the rear. Can't speak for the front.

Good to hear that 25mm in the rear and 15 mm in the front works with no rubbing.

So the consensus is:

Lowered car
25 mm rear (only available as a bolt-on) Part # 5065662 DRM Series
DRM Series spacers bolt to the hub with existing wheel studs and special nuts (included). Wheel is bolted to new DRM wheel studs.

15 mm front (only available as a stud replacement) Part # 3065662 DRS Series
DRS Series spacers fit between the wheel and hub, and require exchanging the existing wheel studs for longer ones (studs are included).

H&R is the one to go with. H&R TRAK+® Wheel Spacers | Products || H&R Special Springs, LP

Note: the above bolt-on / stud replacement types are for H&R spacers only

Good prices from these vendors:
(look under 350Z they are the same bolt pattern as the 370Z)

 Hope my initial posts were of assistance. I agree with you, I think the deeper hub helps solve the problem, and the H&Rs are very well made.
