Maybe I am missing it but Stillen’s website does NOT show H&R spacers, only the Eibach’s and they are way out of line on pricing compared to other sources for the H&R.

Question: So how do spacers affect the dynamics of the car . .say for tracking purposes? What are the pros and cons of spacers - at least on the ride and for tracking?

This chart will show you the impact track widening (and other suspension changes) have on the chassis dynamics:

You are missing something.

STILLEN : H&R TRAK+ Wheel Spacers

if you've been paying attention, its the same part number as the one for the 350z.

cptspeed 12-09-2009 04:47 PM

Hey Mike. Just got my H&Rs in for the front. They worked awesome, no vibrations. Thanks for being the guinea pig. See you at The Run.

Mike 12-09-2009 05:43 PM

antennahead actually was, but you are welcome! See you there.

^No offense taken....If you read my previous post with the part numbers you would also see that I used 350Z part #'s.
http://www.the370z.com/277291-post54.html

Stillen's website is less than desirable (when searching for H&R spacers). Good in other areas.

1) They do not list the H&R under equipment/model/make of vehichle, even when using 350Z.

2) Your link still does not list any parts for the 370Z nor 350Z.

Here is the return search from the above link on both the 350Z and 370Z. Even when selecting no vehicle and show all parts the return search only shows Ford and Scion.

There are no parts available for your selected vehicle.

Please select an alternate vehicle:

It's all good, I can always call them if need be for a part check and price.

Better yet shoot me a pm with your POC at Stillen and I will call.

 I took an old computer chair, removed the back so it's just a seat on wheels, and lowered it all the way so I could sit down for lower areas of the car when I am too pooped to kneel :p

Yep, we're due for a freshening on some applications. Feel free to PM me, but I'll work on getting them added and up tomorrow, including the 370Z notation.

Sorry for the inconvenience. We can always get stuff if you call in or PM me.

Thanks!

Damn.....I must be a glutton for pain! Another good tip...this might be an idea for the start of a separate thread and call it "tips of the trade with normal household goods". With this economy, every little bit helps.

kudos again!

Sent you a PM for pricing.

I love it, Damn thing rolls nice and easy and sits pretty low. I detailed the Z a few weeks back, and by the time I got to removing the wax by hand, the "rolling stool" was a lifesaver

Here are the 25mm spacers on the rear. Nismo wheels with stock sport package offsets and car is lowered on eibachs.

ZForce 12-10-2009 09:57 PM

Timing could not have been better! I was looking at a price quote from Josh @Stillen and he priced me out for both 20mm and 25mm for the rears. I was ready to pull the trigger with him tonight. And then Bam… your email popped up in my inbox. I will take a closer look right now and let you know which size I will be going with.

ZForce 12-10-2009 10:03 PM

^^ Stock Potenza's tire size 275/35/19 ?

Need some help

Hey guys,
There is a bunch of good reading there. What I need help with is this, I have the sport package and I'm getting ready to call Josh from Stillen to order my springs and spacers. I'm going with 15 in the front but I'm not sure what to do for the rear. I do not what the tire past the wheel well, I want it tucked in so should I go with the 20's or the 25's. Thanks for the help.:tiphat:

Mike 12-13-2009 01:33 PM

My 25s work nicely. I would get them again

what sizes did you end up going with?

ZForce 12-18-2009 12:34 AM

15mm - front & 25mm - rear. Josh@Stillen took care of me with H&R spacers. Thanks a bunch Josh, they arrived today.

tcarretti 12-18-2009 06:34 AM

batman_4.

Are you putting these spacers on a Touring only or Touring + Sport? I've been thinking about these, but only have the touring and didn't know if they would work correctly with the stock 18's. If you are in San Antonio, I'd like to get a look at them once you get them installed so it would be easier to decide. Also, are you going to do them yourself or are you going to have them done at a shop?

Sorry for all the questions....

Tony

batman_4 12-18-2009 10:30 AM

^ you got PM

Camber

I too would like to thank Josh@Stillen for the outstanding price on my springs and spacers. I held off on the rear spacers because I have one more question. If I go with the 25mm spacer in the rear will I need to change the camber arms to get the camber close to the original specs. If I go with the 20mm spacer can I avoid this, keeping in mind that I will also be dropping it with the Eibach's. Thanks for the help, gotta love the forum!

john370z 12-18-2009 12:46 PM

I think I have the same question an Tommyguns. I have a 10mm rear spacer and I'm going to put those spacers on the front and put 20mm on the rear and I already think my rear tires/wheels look like the tops are "sunk in" It's a little hard to describe but it looks like the top needs to be pushed out. Is that camber? Is there much adjustment there? How are other 370z's with spacers keeping there wheels/tires looking perfectly vertical. Please let me know if I am not making any sense? I appreciate all your help!
John

tcarretti 12-18-2009 01:01 PM

So will the 15mm up front and the 25mm in the rear work with the stock touring 18's?

austex 12-18-2009 01:58 PM

anyone have experience with the eibach spacers? They seem to be hubcentric, come in all the sizes, but I wonder how deep the flange is on these compared to the H&Rs?

anyone?

This should answer the camber questions, borrowed from a vendors thread with Eibach Pro-Kit specs with OEM set up and camber after install of Eibachs.
