How wide tires affect overall performance

When I switched wheels, I realized that I had probably another 15k of life in the fronts, and maybe 3k on the rears. At this rate, I'll need front tires

When I had sport wheels, I was looking to run 265f/295r. Now that I've got Nismo wheels, I'll probably bump that up 10mm. It all depends on the manufacturer. Not all tires that claim to be the same size actually are.

I was pretty set on the PSS until i read about the 9k-10k miles thread life. I will have to do more research between the two.

I loved my conti DW. 2 lbs lighter than the pss in my size and both are a max extreme Tirerack ratting. Cheaper too.
