What tires give the 370z sports pack best handling?

I called discount tire and they said Bridgestone no longer makes RE-11 for the size 285/35/R19 hmmmmmmmmmmmm

It should be noted that Consumer Reports highly recommend Michelin Pilot Super Sport tires. Yes, much to my surprise Consumer Reports tests UHP (ultra high performance) summer tires. I have had them on my other car and they wear incredibly well, are quiet and handle well. I had 15000 miles on them when I traded my old car off for a Z and they still had well over half the tread left. Pilot Super Sports also come with a 30,000 mile tread life warranty (15000 miles for split fitment) from Michelin. While Tire Rack is a good source for info on tires and I use them for info, I do not at all trust the consumer reviews on tire rack. How can someone who buys maybe one set of tires every four years make an objective review of the tire they bought when they don't try the others? When I buy tires I look at the reviews of the pros who try a lot of different tires. Guys on the street seem to base their review of tires on the look of the tread pattern - does it look cool? I just want a good tire that wears decent and handles better than the others. Pilot Super Sport | Michelin Tires

I concur. I was looking at Tire Rack before I bought my Z to get an idea what kind of tread life I could expect to see from the different tires and what a replacement set would cost me. There were reviews from people who hardly had any miles on them so it was virtually impossible to get an idea how long they'd last, or how well they worked. (compared to what other tires???)
Secondly, with road noise an issue to me I'd want to make sure to replace the stock Potenza 050As (I think those are the ones) with something quieter.
No help there either. Given the C&D test, it sounds like the Michelin PSS might just be the way to go.

There are many things to consider here. Such as driving in rain or in cold temperatures.

PSS are great, on the track I am very happy with Kumho MX. If you want the tires with the most grip/handling for the sport package you would want R compounds such as Hoosiers. I'm sure Pirelli has some good tires too if you want to spend a few thousand.

After 3 years on the OEM RE050A Potenzas, I installed the Potenza S-04s right away when I bought my 2014. Vast improvement over OEM. I did consider the PSS, but the set of 4 S-04s was $800 at Tire Rack compared to $1300 for the PSS. The S-04s are excellent tires. I note that Car & Driver in the article cited above ranked them a close second behind the PSS. No way does the PSS give $500 worth of extra performance over the S-04.

I see, however, that Tire Rack has a rebate on the PSS going on. The price difference there, between the S-04s and the PSS, is closer to $170. Personally, I doubt that there's even $170 worth of difference between the two if your use is "spirited" driving around town.

I agree. My 350Z is on RE-11s and they're superb summer tires. All season tires? Not so much.
