Is the standard 35 psi for the 19" Bridgestones good for driver education and autocross events? Recommendations please....

I use pressures somewhere in that range hot. The important thing to remember is that as you drive the pressures are going to increase dramatically and you will need to monitor them to make sure they don't go too high. Also during autox watch your tires to see if you're getting too much roll-over, aka rubbing on the sidewalls. If that starts to happen up the pressures.

I run more pressure in the front for Auto-X because of the beating the front tires take from insufficient camber. Somewhere between 38-40 hot usually works out well for the front and 35 for the rear.

Ditto autocrossed the car two weeks ago front tires need help, ended up with 38 in the front and 34 rear with the fronts still rolling over a little more than I wanted. I was just to lazey to walk over and pick up my compressor for my last runs otherwise I would have upped the pressure to 40.

I was running on a highly abrasive out of service aircraft runway with various ages and conditions of asphalt. At 38 psi the front were rolling over still. The rears looked fine (but were probably low when when I showed up). THe car is bone stock and the alignment was as it was when it left the dealers lot.
