Anyone out to steal your wheels can defeat these easily with the right tool..or they'll break and leave you stranded and unable to remove your wheel. Seems like too many things to go wrong with these..(but thay are cheap enough)

 Are you saying that the Nissan 370Z-specific wheel locks break?

What do you guys think about this wheel lock,
Amazon.com: Gorilla Automotive 63621 Standard Mag Guard Locks (12mm x 1.25 Thread Size) - Pack of 4: Automotive
Gorilla 63621 Mag Wheel Locks
Can they be trusted with the correct depth, with the addition of the washer that comes with it to hold the SPORT wheel with out an issue, thanks

Another option I found from Gorilla which is closer to the OEM design for the Ray's wheels are the 73621T
I am hoping they are less noticeable than the Nissan locks, which look just a little out of place next to the rest of the lug nuts.

You can get nissan proper flanged wheel locks for the 370z from peoria nissan in peoria arizona, mail order from their parts department for $36.80 plus shipping a set.

Your 2012 Z should already come with wheel locks

Bottom line is, if a theif really wants your rims they'll take em. I've seen all different locks broken and rims stolen.

Any one know where I can get black lug nuts and locks that work for the sport wheels?

Looking for a little help if anyone has time, love to read a thread to get help and it has multiple part numbers everyone agrees upon

I have a 350z and recently bought 370z sport wheels, i went to the dealership to get some locking nuts (my sport wheels only came with 15 lug nuts) so we got some ordered up and they ended up being the ones in the first post without the washer style

The dealership swears by them, this is 2012 and they still swear by it, they told me if i wanted to use the 370z nuts i needed 370z studs, not sure if there is a length difference on these two but i can get 13 complete turns with the nut on the stud

They also recommended for me to get open ended lugs

So we got these Nissan part numbers
999W2-Z3409 (pulled from courtesy parts)
Nissan Flat Washer Style Wheel Lock - Z34 370Z :: Nissan Parts, NISMO and Nissan Accessories - Courtesyparts.com
999W2-JT000 (pulled from service bulletin)
http://www.the370z.com/images/servic.../NTB09-024.pdf

Any help?
350z vs 370z stud length? 13 turns good? (just hoping it sits all the way in the wheel)

Part number match?

I wouldnt mind ordering Gorilla ones or some open ended lugs

Thank you!

So glad I bothered to read this thread. Even in 2011 my dealer managed to screw this up and use the wrong locks. Luckily I had already taken the locks off and used the standard lugs. Just went to the dealer this morning to get the right ones (for free). They argued with me initially but once I gave them the TSB number and they looked it up they gladly exchanged the locks that came with the car for the right ones. They even thanked me for pointing this out to them.

Just bought a set of wheel locks from my Nissan Dealer and the part number is 999W2-JT000 They fit perfectly, and torqued to spec. The shank does not reach the bottom, the flat washer hits first. The lock is on the left, the regular nut is on the right.

Ok, on the lock is on the bottom, since it rotated the picture.

Can anyone explain the difference between the 999W2-JT000 and the 999W2-Z3409?

Yes, please! We have the same roadster, and I got the wrong wheel locks from my dealer. I want to get the correct ones. Which one do I want: 999W2-JT000 or the 999W2-Z3409
