bridgeston potenza RE970 AS

I have cut the sidewall on my original bridgestone with 4000 miles on them and I am going to replace only the front set with RE970AS will that work?

I don't think I understand the question. Are you looking for fit? Yes they will fit if they are the right size.

Or are you asking if you can mix tires? Yes, you can mix tires. Most people don't like to but theres nothing wrong with it.

kenchan 08-25-2013 06:04 PM

yes, you have to ask a question, and answer the question by yourself in this tread.

gomer_110 08-25-2013 06:09 PM

Yes you "can" mix tires. Just be warned that different rubber coupounds/tread patterns can yield odd handling characteristics.

kenchan 08-25-2013 06:26 PM

wat if you had 4 different brand/model tires. will that work?

yes, it will 'work' per se, but can not be recommended due to different hydroplaning resistance. in the dry, might be sort of okay.

kenchan 08-25-2013 06:27 PM

wat if i had 2 wheels from a bicycle and 2 wheels from a truck? will that work?

probably not.

well assuming hes comparing the tires performance wise (from reviews on them) no the won't hold a candle to the re05a's your replacing. your going from a max performance summer tire to an all season. ride quality is supposedly good but considering i don't give two s**** about ride quality your on your own there.

Edit: and on a side note did he ask the greatest question ever? No. are you guys responding like my350 members? Yes

I'm gonna go ahead and say were not. We may be joking around a little, but were not being dicks about anything. I'm honestly waiting for OP to get back and post his actual question cause I've driven on numerous performance tires and I think I'd have some good info.

Do you have any experience with written English?

Likely you do not, given your propensity to mutilate it beyond recognition.
