I never said PC didn't chip, in fact I did say it chips. But no one here is going to want to break a wheel down every time a chip happens as I said, therefore dip is a great easy cheap solution. Whether you live in snow environments or not you still have sand blasting out west, rocks and gravel else where, salt water by the oceans etc. I'd never paint because it never lasts!
