5 spoke is the most common style of wheel. go to google and check out volk, work, einki, rota, and thats all I can think of at the moment

all depends on how much you want to spend.

volk seems to have the nicest designs in my opinion

would it screw up the speedo getting a 18 inch rim on a 370z that came with the sport package 19 inch rims? also, do pretty much all aftermarket rims weight less than the stock rims? too bad they dont have nice nismo rims for the 370z. i know for my ser they do and theres a huge weight differance compared to stock.

Caravanshaka 08-04-2009 03:49 PM

They do have nismo rims for the 370. the new Nismo from the factory has some, and Mike here on the forums has a different type.

wheel size does not affect the speedo, tire size does. As long as you match the tire diameter you won't have any issues.

If you have the stock Rays 19" wheels, then MOST aftermarket wheels are going to be heavier. They are already forged, light-weight and strong. Some volks and such will be lighter for that size, but not significantly.

do you mean the rims that come on the nismo 370z? if so, i find those ugly. thats interesting to find that the 370z's stock rims are lighter than most aftermarket rim, usually its the opposite. how much do the 19 inch 370z rims weight? are the 19 inch 370z rims lighter than the 18 inch?

There is a post here on the forum detailing the Rays weights, along with the stock bridgestone weights as well. I want to say they were about 25 lbs each. You can find Volks running 20 lbs each in 19's I'm sure, but the majority of wheels out there are going to be heavier. Aftermarket Forged monoblocks are going to be the lighter ones.
