Chrome Wheels For 370Z
i noticed in the brochure that the only pure chrome wheels available are in the back of the book, and listed as a Genuine Nissan Accessory. i like the looks of those wheels better than the stock wheels or whats available in the Sports Package. plus they are chrome also.
anybody know how much those cost? Mike |
About $1600. Are you the whitey that created all that drama when you were shopping for your z?

and no, i am not the Whitey that created all the drama. i am the Whitey that was asking questions in an attempt to find answers so i could make the best decision possible based upon what i wanted. Mike |
they are polished aluminum not chrome.
i believe you are talking about these http://www.the370z.com/z1-motorsport...torsports.html |
well, if they arent 100% chrome, then how does a guy get chrome wheels for a 370Z? i'd hate to pay $1700 if they werent exactly like i wanted.

High quality polished aluminium looks almost exactly like chrome, costs loads less and weighs a lot less too. Actual chrome wheels weigh a ton.

ok, dumb question here.
would the 18" stock tires fit these 19" polished aluminum/chrome wheels? Mike |

lol

why do you say no? Mike |
the tires have a diameter
ex: 225/50/18 and 225/45/19 different diameter (red numbers) needs different tires, the middle number in blue can fluctuate according to tire width, got options there |

so, if i wanted those polished aluminum 19" wheels i'd either have to find (or order) the 370Z with the Sport Package or just buy them separately.
in other words, i could buy the 19" wheels for $1680 and four new 19" tires (assume around $1,000) and have the the stock wheels and tires replaced upon delivery. then i'd have the stock wheels/tires to sell or perhaps trade with the dealer, or EBay them to offset the cost. i looked at the Sport Package and didnt really see anything i felt like i needed to pay $3,000 for. and if i did i'd still have to pay the $1680 for the polished aluminum wheels. which means i'd have close to $4,700 in extra costs. if i bought them separate i'd have around $2,700 or so and save around $2000. am i missing something here? whoaa, slow down
3000 for the sports package gives you SRM, LSD, BBK, Spoiler and Rays wheels - pretty good value to me. just buy the rims separately and buy tires online from ....well, google discount tires and u'll see and if you want, sell the stock 19 rims on here to a member |
