19x10.5 +22 19x11 +18

So made the mistake of trading my Volks for my Work CR Kai in the above mentioned offsets. I had the stock 245/40/19 fr and 275/35/19 rr Potenza Re050 tires and the rear stretches and holds air but the fronts stretch too much and won't hold air unfortunately. Love my new wheels but just gotta get the expropriate tires.

Basically I wanna ask for suggestions as to what size tires I'm able to throw up in the front. I'm still stock height but I plan on dropping about an inch or so in the future. Thanks guys. I'll upload some pics later when I get a chance.

If you're into meaty tires, then go 265/35 or 275/35 fronts and 295/30 or 205/30 rears :)

Will 265 or 275 fit on a +22 wheel in the front though? Previous shop told e it wouldn't or its be super close

Bottom line, you're going to need at least a 255 or 265 to even hold air on a 10.5. A 255 is going to give you about a half inch stretch (quarter inch inner and a quarter inch outer). That should work. I would think that would fit. 265 is really going to be pushing it with those offsets up front.

Post pics of the fitment in order to tell you how much wider you can go. It all depends on your alignment adjustments and drop. You must have installed them, right?

Also, I'm surprised the front isn't holding air. A 245 on a 10.5 is doable and it's pretty stretched but I've seen it many times and its ok.

Yes you can, but you need to get more camber upfront.

I'm dropped on KW V1 with about 1 finger gap with a 19x10.5 +12 and have had both 255 and 265 up fronts. Not sure if you're talking about fitting the fenders or clearing the suspension, but +22 with stock fenders on 265 will definitely be fine on the outside. Not sure about clearing struts though but I'm assuming it will be fine as well, I have quite a bit of clearance on the inside.

Have about -1.8 camber up front. Running 305/30 in the rear on 19x11 +13 with -3.2 camber but going to straighten that out on my next alignment

Sounds good 265 or 255 is what I'm looking for

Will do on the pics, and I have no drop get I'm still stock height but I don't want to drop then not be able to turn. Worst case scenario I hold off on the drop

I'll keep that in mind. I'm stock suspension all around still though

Sounds good then. I'm just talking about fitting fenders. Haven't even thought about the inside strut. But I'm 19x10.5 +22 so I have a bit more clearance on the inside.
Also though what sidewall size have you ran? 255/35/19? Or 255/40/19? Same with the 265

Thanks for all the help guys. I'll try to take pics of my undrivable car tomorrow morning :(

255/40/19 was my previous tire size, I'm at 265/35/19 now with no issues. With 19x10.5 +22 you should be completely fine with either of those tire sizes fender wise

Sorry for all the pics :eekdance:

Looks good! Needs a drop though ;)

Jbwrecked 06-25-2013 02:14 AM

Thank you sir! :tiphat:

Now do y'all think 265/35/19 would be fine? I think I'm picking up a set tomorrow if not the next day to finally get the car up and running. Also how do you check to see if I have enough room to clear the suspension? Do you jack up the car and look underneath or do I just turn the wheel and see if it rubs? If I'm able to check and see before I get these tires that'd be greatttttt.

Jbwrecked 06-26-2013 02:23 PM

Ended up ordering 265/35/19 Pilot Super Sports so I'll update the thread with some pics and info in a bit when I get them on! Pretty stoked but scared how the car will handle with almost bald rears and brand new fronts. Still have the stock 275/35/19 in the rears.

.c2 06-26-2013 04:19 PM

Nice! I'm running PSS 265/35/19 in the fronts as well. You should be completely fine. Stick your hand in there and see how much room you have with the inner tire sidewall against the shock

Boost_lee 06-27-2013 12:56 AM

Looks good Jerry. I gotta check it out one of these days
