Default Wheels and Offsets

Hey all,
I know this might sound like a stupid question, and before you go bashing me telling me to search, I did. But im looking for a new set of wheels, I want a lightweight 19 inch wheel. I called in to a wheel shop today and asked them what offsets i needed to run, the results of my search led me to believe that i wanted about a 35 in the front and a 20 in the rear. The shop told me that this isnt the recommended offset for this car that a high offset is recommended so i will have to sign a disclaimer and wouldnt be able to return the wheels. So i was just trying to figure out if this offset will work or what offset for a 19x10 wheel will i need?

Default

19x9 +25-30 is safe and fairly aggressive for the front
19x10 +10-20 is safe and fairly aggressive for the rear.

wheels I ordered were 19x9 +24 up front and 19x10 +20 in the back (20 was the lowest offset they offered, and I am considering a 10mm spacer after I lower the car)

you can use this tool to compare the above mentioned offsets to any wheel width you can imagine to make sure the outer position stays the same:
