Hey guys,
just posting to share some thoughts and hopefully gain some info on choosing some new tyres for my ride, I've just ordered the twin turbo kit from GTM and waiting on this to come and will probably need tyres soon after install of this ![]() so far, I've tried the original tyres from factory on the 19" rims, my 2nd set were Nitto Invo's when I got the new 20" wheels, these were quite good, can't complain about them at all really. Still running the front Nitto Invo's which are due for a change soon. They were quieter than the standard tyres and better handling/smoother ride also. At the moment on the rear I'm running the Pirelli P-zero's and not really happy with them at all, the only good thing I've found about them so far is they are non-directional so can change them over from rear wheel to rear wheel when the inside starts to wear a little, grip wise is fairly average, nothing super good, and also a lot more road noise than the Nitto's. For my next set I'm thinking of trying the Nitto NT05's (basically semi slick, shown here) - NT05 anyone else experience these same tyres I've tried and compared with something better? |
