MB 370: Flat Black 19" Volk TE 37-Sickness Inside

So, you may recognize 2theextreme's 370Z, as he posted pictures in one of his build threads, but I wanted to share some photos I took of his car outside the shop today. The BC Coilovers and Volk Wheels turned out perfectly, even with room to go down more, if he so desired. Reminds me a lot of a factory Porsche 997 GT3 RS. The rear of the car looks so much wider now!

Again, these are Volk TE 37(sunk face FTW!) at 19x9.5+22 and 19x10.5+12. Keep your eyes open for this car, as you're probably going to see it showing up everywhere! On to the pics:

I have more photos to retouch, and then I'll post them up. This was just a mini shoot, and we'll be doing a more extensive photo session within a few weeks. Thanks for viewing!

Candy! :roflpuke2:

molamann 07-25-2009 08:44 PM

I don't know about you but I would keep the Volk stickers since most people tend to just remove em.

Endgame 07-25-2009 08:52 PM

Yikes!!! That is sick!!!!!!!!

nogoodname 07-25-2009 08:54 PM

he is keeping them, he had them put on blue ones

tooohip 07-25-2009 09:02 PM

What's interesting is Ryan@forged told me they come with the wheel and he would have to do something different NOT to have those blue stickers on the wheels when I order them?

Maybe I misheard though. They sure look perfect with this car though. :ughdance:

nogoodname 07-25-2009 09:03 PM

whatever the case may be, sure worked out for his Blue Z !!!

I believe when I asked him about it he said something about they come with the wheel seperately and that they could put them on for me. I'm thinking the stickers are already on the wheels from the get go.

tbonesteak 07-25-2009 09:48 PM

HOLY HELLLL!!!!! Sickest wheels i've seen in the forums by far!!!! WOWWWW.

dlmartin81 07-25-2009 09:48 PM

tbonesteak 07-25-2009 09:49 PM

I have the BR Type coilovers. Still getting used to all the changes but the car seems very responsive. Was told to give it about 2 weeks and the coilovers will break in. The car may even lower a little bit more between now and then.

nogoodname 07-26-2009 01:09 AM

it will lower slightly during the settling period

I'm going to give you a tie with KillerBee for the sickest Z on the forums. Blue pinstripes on the rims, or better yet, blue calipers would put you over the top. Get rid of those dealer license plate frames. I don't care how good Passport Nissan is they don't deserve to be advertised on that beautiful car.

Seriously though, that thing looks incredible. I will be paying a visit to Altered Atmosphere as soon as I get some extra scratch together.

:icon17: Yeah, Jon @ Altered almost didn't wanna take pictures because of the license plate frame!! Time for a change. ;)

And thanks for putting me in the same league as KillerBee....his Z is awesome looking!

nogoodname 07-26-2009 02:31 AM

i think urs is better

AK370Z 07-26-2009 02:36 AM

So is it true whether or not you can not have the 'sticker's on there?

No disrespect to the makers, but I like it with nothing on it, thats why I get black rims to begin with... With a MB Z I can't magine these nice bright blue stickers looking good IMO.

DJcuetip 07-27-2009 02:23 AM

that looks ok i guess

When I spoke to Ryan @ Forged he had mentioned they came in the box but not on the wheels...they would need to be put on. I thought that was a good idea at least that way you have a choice.

However when they were delivered to Altered the blue Rays & Volk stickers were already on the wheels so maybe they come that way from the factory. Not 100% sure on that, tho.

pretty sure they cant be had from the factory without some color stickers.

Lance heard correctly. The color sticker on the wheel is dependent on what color the wheel is. All of the Flat Black TE37's come with Blue stickers. It works out nicely for a blue car. However, if the car had been red, it still would come with blue stickers. There is no option to get the wheels without the stickers. You have to remove the stickers if you don't want them on the wheel. This procedure is harder than it sounds. SAllen had to do this with the set he received from us.

That stupid blue label is making me hold off on these Ryan! ;-) You got anything comparable to these wheels as an alternative? Guess I should post this questions somewhere else and not hijack this thread eh? :tiphat:
