2012 370z Sport Package -- Need new tires soon

I am definitely due for 4 new tires. I can go to the dealership or Discount Tire. I bought this car used a couple of months ago and aggressively used up the remaining tread on Bridgestone Potenza's.

I have 24500Mi. This is my daily driver. I plan to drive the new set spirited but not aggressive. What tires do you recommend and not recommend?

I would also be leaning toward dry tracking since I live in Texas. I don't need all season.

OEM tires are Bridgestone Potenza RE050A.

I would suggest getting Michelin Pilot Super Sports.

Get the Super Sport tire. I got 4 new ones only thing silly looking with them are the tread pattern.

S04's for quick handling.

SuperSports for comfy softer handling, so i read.

also check out Continental DW's at tirerack.com. i think these are pretty similar to the supersports as far as handling, but you loose some grip per the survey's.

I'm getting michelin pss's when my stockers are bare. Never driven pss's but everyone here and in other places iv'e checked rave about them. Or Bridgestone potenza re-11's from what ive read are great too. people seem to think the pss's are a great street tire and good track tire, whereas the re-11's are a great track tire and good street tire. You probably can't go wrong with either but I'm definitely getting pss's when mine are done.

Yikes! OEM Nissan is sure proud of them. The guy at Discount said the eo means something like OEM and tends to cost more.

I am on a budget; Both the Michelin Pilot Super Sport and Michelin Pilot Sport A/S Plus are out of my price range as well.

Bridgestone Potenza RE760 Sport look ok. Any other recommendations for under $1200 out the door for a set? Preferably Summer and Z Rated.

Yep, S04's at tirerack's sale price is a very good buy. I run them on my G. Wet and dry traction is very good.

I decided on the Bridgestone Potenza S-04 Pole Position tires.

Discount tire does not carry N. I could ship them to the dealership if there is a sale and have them mounted and filled with N there or refilled.

nice!

meh, forget about nitrogen unless you have wheels that have 2 valve stems. you cant get all the air out inside the tire with only just one valve. unless there is some magic they do. everyone likes magic.

That's been my concern as well. I would be limited to the dealership for repairs and fills if I go nitrogen. I like the idea though.

I decided its just easier to do it at Discount. I might find a reputable station to swap the air out for Nitrogen.
