Default Finding 19" Performance Tires

I need new tires within the next few weeks, and I'm finding that I hit exactly the wrong time. I run the 19" sport package wheels on my Z, and I use it for autocross and track as well as summer daily driving.

I'd like to go to 245/35 front, 285/30 rear, but it's hard to find any tires in that size. The RE-11s in that size are now out of stock on TireRack, and the RE-11As haven't been released in that size yet. Other possibilities I looked at are the g-Force Rival (no 19" sizes on TireRack) or the Direzza ZII (which have 19" sizes, but only in 245/40 and 275/35).

So far, the options I see are either the Direzza ZII and put up with the smaller sizing, or go down a notch to the Potenza S-04s (or something similar). I guess the question is if having a slightly less sticky tire compound is worth 10mm of extra contact patch width in the rear.

Well is tire rack the only place you want to buy your tires from? Why not try americas tire or better yet Costco. I know both places can special order tires for you and have em there within a couple days as I have ordered from both.

No, I just use tire rack to get a feel for what's available.

Yea I've been doing the same. I'm actually buying tires today but will probably just order them from America's tire
