Got my car back and dealer can't find 1 thing wrong with suspension or springs. I'm in no mans land now. Tires apparently don't have manufactures warranties if they come on a car ( according to Bridgestone) and dealer say they can't don't anything. This is jacked. You know when your tires need to be replaced and save accordingly so why would I have an extra $600 laying around for 2 new back tires when I just barely made my first car payment?! I'm not letting this down , someone's gonna compensate whether its the tire co or Nissan. I'm Nissan's customer so they should be taking care of it and so far I'm getting nowhere. Any thoughts? I like Hankook V12s but are there any other recommendations on affordable performance tires?

Your alignment was off and it ate the tires. It's not the dealers fault, it's not the suspensions fault and it's not the tires. Toe destroys tires incredibly quickly.

Are you saying they're wearing evenly across the tread, or both sides have even wear?

I take it you are reading this thread selectively. Most of the actual responses are giving you reasons WHY this happened. Just because people so something like you stated that you did with your previous vehicles, doesn't mean that it works with all vehicle or the one you currently own. Reading up on the cause and effect afterward is hindsight. If you choose to ignore the lesson, that is on you. My suggestion is: do a little more research on your current vehicle, become more familiar or "one with your machine" before you bash it or complain, and don't ask questions on the forum if you are not ready to read what they write back. Oh, yeah.........welcome to the forum.

Hey Red, chill out! I never bashed the car, guess your reading selectively. Most of the people are either talking amongst themselves or giving the same ideas...all were helpful. A lot of what I have found here has been useful and furthers my knowledge about a vehicle you recommended me to RESEARCH. Only using past vehicles as reference, one being a sister car. Sorry you dont like the direction of my questions but if you don't like the thread go to another.

Chuck: I'm saying they're wearing evenly across the thread. That's where I get stumped. Can you explain? Irregular wearing may not have been as shocking if it took longer to get this bad. If I saw camber wear and then the out of alignment readings I would be the first to admit that was, my bad. It makes sense to re-align after the springs settle and I'll remember that next time around.

It's not camber wear. That would have taken longer than 4k miles. It's the toe that burned up your tires. It's not uneven wear you should be concerned about, it's accelerated wear. There's no point in pursuing Nissan, the dealer or the tire manufacturer. Go buy another pair of used takeoffs in the classifieds here and consider it an expensive lesson learned.
