Would it be safe to...

Stack a 2.5mm spacer on my 15mm spacer for a 17.5mm spacing?

DEpointfive0 05-01-2013 11:29 AM

Nope, 2.5mm isn't enough to throw it off

JARblue 05-01-2013 11:29 AM

Disclaimer: I'm no expert. But if they're stud replacement type, I don't see why not.

**edit** DE: explain? I would just use a bunch of anti-seize. That's being said, is 2.5mm really make or break for you? I would think 15 or 20 mm should be close enough in most applications.

Yeah they are.

Cuz i think 20 in the front is too wide but 15 is too in still. lol

2.5mm will not be noticeable, go big or go home :) go with the 20mm.

I understand completely  I have several sets (15/20/25) sitting in my garage and cannot decide where to go. I have test fitted all of them in every combination (larger set in rear of course), and I went back to stock cause I couldn't decide... that decision is going on a couple months now :bowrofl:

m4a1mustang 05-01-2013 12:49 PM

Stock fronts? 20mm will be perfect.

JARblue 05-01-2013 12:55 PM

I think my main problem is I liked 20 in the front and 20 in the rear, but I would prefer to just use what I have. I don't think 25 in the back was too much, but I do think 20 in the back was just right.

m4a1mustang 05-01-2013 12:57 PM

I have 20 in the back right now. Definitely feel like 25 would have been too much. At least at stock height, anyway.

lol... in the back.

JARblue 05-01-2013 01:01 PM

:yum:

and thanks for confirming... I guess I'll just offload the 15 and 25 sets to help pay for another set of 20. I only had one set of studs to use anyway - I used some studs that were cut down for test fitment, but I would never use them on the road.

you just need to make sure you get a solid 7 turns on the lug nuts....... correct?
