Yeah man, unless you're living "paycheck to paycheck," there is no reason you should not be throwing money around like confetti. I mean, the whole reason we are in the financial mess is that people don't throw their cash around.

Your right, I think to be on the safe side, i recommend that we all buy type R compound tires and swap them out after each use. If it's good enough for the pro's then it's good enough for me. Besides it's bound to increase my accel/decel times and distances!

Yeah, putting your financial priorities into your vehicle is the only thing that really makes sense for people not living "paycheck to paycheck." Don't invest your money in property, improve your house, or the like. Vehicles are the only investment that stands up over time.

If we'd all start spending all our disposable income, we could buy ourselves right out of this recession................. fvck the savings rate

Right. Talking about saving money and not spending it frivolously is for people who live paycheck to paycheck. Sissies. Put your money where it makes the most sense, your tires.

I ain't paycheck to paycheck and i need everyone to know it, thats why i roll on $4k tires! Trust me, the girls know the difference! Property, houses, and a portfolio are for losers!

Samsung DVD player broke, Samsung Mp3 player, broke, etc etc so on and so forth. I don't know anybody with a Samsung that enjoys it. Another friend of mines dad bought a big screen Samsung, that thing has horrible input lag, couldn't play fighting games on it at all. My Panasonic Plasma is worlds better.

Leading global electronics company, that has failed time and time again to impress me. I don't hate either company, I'm just saying they've always failed to impress me, and I don't mind paying a few extra dollars to pick a brand that never fails to live up to my expectations.

For the record no I haven't bought Hankook, because I've been satisfied with my bridgestones, and again, a few extra dollars doesn't bother me, when over the life of the tire it comes out to pennies on the mile.

No. But anyone who skimps out on the most important aspect of a vehicle for a measly $600 every three years or so is. Then of course, they go spend $1500 on "fat beat that knocks, yo."

lets see, the day I get 3 years on a set of tires, I'll spend 4 grand on a set. I'm happy to get a yer out of them.

Also, These tires are rated #2 by tire-rack in their category, beating out many that are more expensive. I find them better than the bridgestones by far!

You fail to see what kind of test they placed 2nd in. It was a comparison of budget tires. That's like Maxim coming out with a list of "The Hottest Female Celebrities Over 200 lbs" and saying hey...she's hot because she came in 2nd!

I'll keep on bringing it up as long as it's mentioned and I'll hold my ground...it's foolish to downgrade from factory tires in letting cheap price influence your decision on a purchase you will only make a handful of times for the life of the car. Tires of that ilk are no different than eBay carbon hoods and mufflers. Guess what...you almost always see them on the same car, too. I guess some people need to learn the hard way what it's like when you try to skimp and buy parts on the cheap, as you very well have in your experience with Forgestar. There is a reason why I would not even think about wheels from them.

I'll stick with quality stuff, thanks.
