Anyone tried the Hankook Ventus V12 series?

Why bother buying Hankook? They're not worlds better than the michelins and goodyear or dunlops by those tests. So why not just buy those brands? I never buy Korean products,

I never buy Korean products, not because I'm racist, but because everytime i give in and buy one its faulty or breaks easy, and then i just have to go out and buy Japanese/American. Good example, my friend bought a samsung phone a year ago, and now it's broken. my Sony Ericsson is going on 2 years.
