H&R wheel spacer extended lug question
I recently installed extended lugs from H&R along with 10mm spacers. Everything went well on the install and today (about 2 months after initial install) I had my wheel off and when I went to put it back on it knocked one of the studs out of the back of the hub...
Now when I knocked the stock studs out it took a lot of hammering to get them out... Should I be worried that this one was knocked out so easily? I was able to get it back in without issue, but I just wanna make sure my wheel isn't gonna fall off or something lolz

Properly installed they should not just knock out. How did you pull the new studs in?

Also afterwards made sure everything was torqued properly with a torque wrench. I am really puzzled why this would have popped out so easily.. It was only one that did...

Had a problem with one of my HR replacement studs too. Guy at tire shop couldn't take 1 front lug nut off because the stud was spinning with it. Luckily my buddy and I were able to remove it. Ended up replacing all studs with the Nismo extended for good measure. And you're right... unlike the oems, it only took one blow for each of the HR studs to come off.

Have you checked the other studs to see how well they are seated?
On my first Z I had H&R DRS. When I uninstalled them to sell the car, I had to knock the studs out in the same manner I did the OEM... they were in there pretty good. It sounds like it might just be an out of spec knurl.

Sometimes when you use an impact gun, the stud can spin a little before they start to go in & strip the hub. It's best to tap the studs in IMO. Make sure the stud is fully seated.

Hmm everything looked good on the install and last night I reseated the stud and it seems tight now... Maybe a fluke occurrence....?
