The RE30 is a 1 piece monoblock construction. They are extremely light and the strongest wheel Volk makes. It has a 2" lip. The GT30s are a 2 piece wheel. They are much heavier than the RE30, but have a significantly larger lip; about 4 inches in the rear. They are not quite as strong as the RE30, yet still a very strong wheel I hope this helps.
