Default Dunlop Direzza Z2 or RE11

I had my mind set on RE-11 and DUNLOP came out with Direzza Z2!

I am looking at my stock, the rear has about 20% left (the most) and the front 60% (or more).

I will replace all 4 tires now, but planned to replace just the rear (with the same brand) next time when the rears are done.

However RE-11 is going to be discontinued, that means the next set is going to be all 4 again.

So might go with Direzza Z2 hoping they will still sell them 2 years later.

I know Direzza Z2 is still new on the market, but would be great if someone has some input.

Cheers

according to tirerack and some other sources.

The RE-11s will be discontinued soon, in replacement RE-11A; HOWEVER, they don't have 19" (yet or never)... If they don't, that means RE-11 are the last the Extreme Tire Category from Bridgestone for 370z...

RE-11's will NOT be discontinued. Only selected sizes will be converted to the RE-11a. NOT ALL OF THEM! This was told to me directly by a Bridgestone representative. They have stated that the RE-11a will only replace the most common sizes. The RE-11's will not be discontinued in sizes that are not replaced by the RE-11A.

I stand correct...

But the stock seems to be running low and they are having a "close out" sales on tirerack...

I went to a local store that covers sales tax and only does a small markup for mount and balance when you pay cash.

FYI

"The RE-11 285/35/19s are all out of stock because they have been discontinued."

No longer available on tire rack.
